Question on Diana conspiracy theories?

If Prince Philip and security service conspired to and assianated Diana. Would this not be a sure fire way to bring about collapse of the monarchy if it was found out

She was no longer of any importance to the Royal Family, she was divorced from Charles and no longer had HRH status.  I doubt very much Philip could be bothered to go to such extreme lengths to concoct such a huge undertaking which would need to involve several other people to ensure it was carried out to its ultimate goal.

She was not wearing a seat belt, she died in a car accident.  End of.

I think she was inc edible and pretty young woman? I think she was a threat to the royals. If the sons found out that the grandfather had a hand in the murder,I think they would wipe that side of the family. It is only time before the real truth comes out. Like anything isn't it people think no one will find out. The old saying the bigger they are, the harder they will fall.

There is one sure thing about this.  There was no conspiracy.  How in the name of all that is wonderful did the conspirators arrange 1.  For Dodi and Diana and the driver not to be wearing seat belts?  2.  For the driver to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs?  

How is it that the bodyguard in the most dangerous seat in the car - beside the driver - was wearing a seat belt and survived?

There were two or three road tunnels like that in Paris.  There was no guard rail along the central supports.  If there had been, the car would have slid to a halt and the occupants would have walked out.  They were the 8th, 9th and 10th people to be killed in similar accidents in those Paris tunnels that year.

If there was any conspiracy, it was a conspiracy of negligence among the Paris road authorities.

I can appreciate your rationale in this matter.  However, his relationship with the "commoner" he is now married to was also suppose to result in him losing his title.  That hasn't happened.

The actions of a one indivdual would not result inn the punishment of the entire monarchy.

Yes, I'm sure if that happened and was found out that it could cause the monarchy to fall. But, it would have had to been found out. If Diana really was murdered because the Royal Family wanted her to be odds are that they had people willing to do it for them. In my opinion, Diana was so disliked among the royal circle that people in that circle would be more than happy to get rid of her on behalf of the family.

But personally, I do not believe the conspiracy theories.
