When u drive past a telephone pole, & there r shoes rapped around them, what does that mean?

Someone was the victim of a bully, who threw their shoes up there or someone had a wild hair across their butt and threw them up there.

No real significance, either way.

Either a bully or a bored person tossed them up there. You also seen them on telephone lines all the time.

It's a gang sign to show that someone was the victim of a drive-by shooting.

Around my area it means that a drug dealer lives in close proximity to the shoes.

The number of shoes dangling on the line indicates what drug(s) the dealer sells.

Of course, if you are not in a hard core crime area, it could just mean that some goofy kid threw his shoes up on the line.
