Can I stick flowers into my Goldfish Bowl? The bowl is in the shape of a flower vase...but will it be okay for the fish?

  1. No, don't do that.  Goldfish put their mouths on everything, and the flower stalks could be toxic or could contain toxic chemicals.  Use a regular vase.

  2. The only plants that I'm aware of being alright with fish of any sort are lucky bamboo and pothos plants.  Flowers are probably not recommended as the flowers might release stuff into the water (from the cut ends) that might poison the fish.
