so i have a question

im 17 and a half imma gonna be 18 in december and i was wondering if i had to have drivers ed class to get my liscense?

one of my friends told me i can just study for it with the little book and take it..

but im not sure..

then from there i can get my permit and practice then get my liscense

It varies on location.

In Arizona you can get your permit when your 15 and a half months old, and five months later you can get your Liscence.

But it honestly varies..
