Why is the crime rate so high in Ireland? The Crime rate isn't really that high here at all, It's actually going down.

Why is poverty such a small problem? Because it's a wealthy country like a lot of the northern Hemisphere and Australia. The Economy is doing ok therefore there's more jobs available so the standard of living is higher.

Why are teens committing such heinous crimes? I don't know.

We've got a good economy and for the most part, a skilled workforce.

I haven't heard anything about Irish teenagers commiting any "heinous crimes" with the execption of the gang that murdered the two Polish guys recently. That really is a very rare occurence. You almost never hear about that kind of thing.

high compared to which other nation?...ive just spent some time in a dark..neolithic pile of garbage country on the dark side of the Orb....my wife is from Cork ...Bandon...we cant wait to go back to ..Ireland...in comparison to where i serve ireland is  HEAVEN....i love the Irish!! ....Except niell prenderville on 96 FM...Hes a langer....hes got fake american accents on his radio station broadcasts...why?...thanks 4 d question....

crime rate isn't that big a problem although it is getting worse! if you compare ireland to america there is a big difference in crime rate! i know there a big difference in population but stil the crime rate is much lower!! poverty isn't a problem because in ireland we have had an econmic boom!! this has taken place over the last 20 years but is now beginning to decrease!! until then ireland was very much a place of poverty as my grandparents would tell me!! teens now have alot more money and freedom from there parents!! the money increase is allowing them to get drugs and drink!!

Why is poverty such a small problem? weathly enough country, plenty of jobs for people so there is little unemployment

Why are teens committing such heinous crimes? i think they do it to impress their friends.
