Questions about Photoshop.?

Does anyone know a safe website where I can DL it? And would I just Download Photoshop cs3 if I just want to do simple photo retouching and graphic design?

Photoshop costs abouit £300+, so downlaodign it for free is illegal.

Use the GIMP ins stead, it is pretty muc hthe smae as Phootshop, but as its OpenSourcce its compelty free and legal.

and yes stuff liek Mininova etc contain virus'.

Have you considered Photoshop Elements?

It's only $99 and does almost everything Photoshop does.

It's what I use.

To answer your question, no one knows a safe website for get it free.  There is *always* a risk of getting malware (virus).   It can be a real pain to get your software this way.

Oops, almost forgot... have you tried GIMP?  It's free (open source) and is quite powerful.

More oops... I should mention IrfanView.  It is also free and fast. I love it.  The downside is that it doesn't allow adjustments to selections (like selecting one object and just brightening or sharpening that one thing).  All adjustments (color, contrast, etc.) operate on the entire image.  But I use it for simple stuff, and PS Elements for complicated stuff.

Photoshop is NOT free.  It is illegal to download it for free.
