Questions about a 15" L7...?

So yea, i just purchased the 2008 Kicker 15" L7 2ohms version. Just a few questions. What would be the best amp for this sub in a sealed or ported box? I was told the zx1000 would be good but kicker told me the zx750 instead. And i was also told the hifonics 1206 too. Dont know what to choose.. Oh and also what size awg wire?

see what the rms watts is on the sub and get a amp that matches that wattage or get an amp thats more wattage. kicker makes good amps.
