  1. ♥ Yes, which ever you'd prefer!

♥ No! Well, you can, but it kills when you get up! hahaha

♥ Possibly(rarely)call a doctor or try to let it slip back down. (maybe eyedrops)

♥ If you choose to get colored contacts, they will change the color(not permanetly)just until you take them out.

♥ As long as they work(it varies)

    ♥ Completely, 100%

♥ Contacts, for sports and its easier. Also, id rather not wear glasses. They can break and its so much easier to wear everyday.

    ♥ Hope this helps!

  2. 1. yes, you need a back-up pair of glasses to give your eyes a healthy amount of oxygen each day.

    2. NEVER.

    3. they can only go underneath the lid in which they come down when you flip the lid or they come down on their own.

    4. colored lenses will.

    5. most are biweekly some are daily, you can get monthly.

    6. yes

    7. I wear both... and work for a optometrist

  3. Ok, a lot to answer.

    1. You can choose contacts or glasses if you prefer one or the other or you can do like me. I have a pair of classes and some contacts.

    2. Some people do but thats not recommended. I take mine off every night.

    3. I pretty sure thats not possible and if it did do that, you call the doctor. But again, im pretty sure they cant.

    4. If you get colored contacts but you can get clear.

    5. My eye doctor says 2 weeks but it may vary according to ur type of contacts.

    6. I have heard of people that after several years had to get laser eye because they just...dont really do well for you. But thats in many many many years.

    7. Contacts cause its like my eyes were never messed up. But they can be a hassle to get in and out. but u get use to it!

    Hope i helped!

  4. 1.  Yes, you can choose, but there is no guarantee that you will be able to wear contact lenses.  Some eyes just do not tolerate wearing contacts.

    2.  There are lenses that are approved for overnight wear, but, again, not all eyes can tolerate overnight wear.

    3.  The contacts can slip under your eyelid, but NOT behind the eye.  A lens that moves too much might be prone to moving off-center and under your eyelid.  A lens that moves too much will be evaluated during the fitting process, and the appropriate adjustment will be made to keep centered.

    4.  Just wearing contact lenses will NOT change your eye color.  You can try lenses that are tinted or colored if you are in the mood to change your eye color.

    5.  How long you wear the lenses, depends on how the lenses and your tears interact with each other and how well you clean the lenses.  Many contact lens manufacturers will specify how often the lenses should be replaced, but this is a carry over from when disposable lenses were first introduced.  Scheduled replacement of lenses rarely have anything to do with keeping your eyes healthy, and more to do with keeping you returning to purchase more lenses.

    6.  When the stars are aligned they ARE safe.  This means that your vision is good, your lenses are comfortable, you are correctly caring for your lenses and the person who fit you for the contact lenses gives you a clean-bill-of-eye-health when you are examined at follow-up examination time.

    7.  I prefer both equally when they are appropriate for the task at hand.

  5. 1-you can choose

    2-no

    3-its rare..try moving it down

    4-if u get colored ones

    5-some a day, some 2 weeks

    6-yes

    7-contacts...glasses are annoying

  6. 1. For the most part, yes.  If you have a lot of astigmatism, good contacts can be hard to find.  (Although I don't have this problem, so I can't speak from personal experience.)

    2. Depends on the type of contacts you get.  You must get ones specifically made and tested for overnight wear.  Otherwise sleeping in them can damage your eyes.

    3. Contacts my slide around on your eye and can slip under your lid.  They cannot, however, get behind your eye because there is a protective layer that covers your eye.  If it gets "lost" in your eye, try to find it and gently move it out with your fingers or by moving your eyelids.

    4. No.  You can get colored contacts, which just change the appearance of the color of your eye.

    5. Again, depends on the type of lenses.  Some are made for daily wear, some for 1 week, some for 2 weeks, and so on.

    6. Yes, but you must be responsible and take good care of them.  They are directly on your eye, so if you do not wash them properly, it is easy for them to transfer protein or bacteria onto your eye.

    7. I like both.  Contacts are great because they are unnoticeable and can be more comfortable than glasses.  Glasses require less maintenance and generally the optical quality is higher.

Your optometrist or optician can give you the best recommendations for your specific prescription as far as glasses and contacts go.  Also, it's important to have a pair of glasses even if you want to wear contacts all the time.  If you get an eye infection or have a problem with your contacts, you will want a backup.

  7. 1. Can I choose if I want glasses or contacts, or do I for example need glasses and contacts won't work?

    You get to Choose

    2. Can I sleep with contacts on?

Yes, but some people find it uncomfortable and dry

    3. Can the contacts slip behind my eyelid? What do I do if they do?

They don't, you have muscles around your eyes that wont allow them to get behind your eye

    4. Do they change my eye color?

If you want you can get colored

    5. For how long can I use one pair of lenses?

2 weeks for disposable, If you sleep in then you need to remove them and clean them once a week. At first you will have to work your wearing time up. like 3 hours the first day 6 hours the next and 2 hour increments each day.

    6. Are they safe?

completely as long as you clean and take care of them the way they are suppose to be

    7. Do you prefer glasses or contacts, and why? contacts

I feel like I look better with out glasses and I can wear any sunglasses from the store.

  8. yes you can sleep with them in, but in the morning they are all dry, but try not to sleep with them in more than once. Yes they can slip behind, but its very unlikely. no I've had them for almost 2 years and they haven't changed and colors. you can buy different kinds of them some of them are that u need to change them every month, but others you can have them for like a year. and yes i think they are safe.  make sure that if you put them in over a sink that you plug the drain first, otherwise they can fall out and go down the drain. i prefer contacts because you don't need to wear glasses the whole time, and its harder to break contacts than glasses. you can also play sports better with contacts.
