Question:

Questions about purity rings?

I have a few questions about getting a purity ring.

1. Do you have to hold some kind of ceremony for it? Or can you just get one, and put it on and call yourself pure?

2. Where's the best place to get one for not too much?

3. Do you HAVE to put it on your left ring finger?

THANK YOU! (:

  2. 1. I didnt have a ceremony.

    2. i got one from james avery.

    3. yes

  3. 1. You don't have to have a ceremony, as the most important thing is your personal decision. However making public vows can help make your vows feel more 'real'. Ceremonies can be done at a place of worship, your home, or anywhere you feel comfortable.

    2. You can check out my online store - http://stores.ebay.com/The-Promise-Ring-...

It has a large range of promise rings, with prices starting at just $9. I've also included lots of information about the history of promise rings, so you can know all about them before you pick one!

    3. Promise rings can be worn on any finger. Those symbolizing pre-engagement and abstinence are generally worn on the left ring finger, however it's really up to you.

  4. These days some people hae ceremonies and others dont.

I have hear that in some states they have father daughter dances and the father then gives his daughter the ring.

While that is nice some times its not practical for one person.

Most people will just take it to a priest and have it blessed.

You can get them from any where you wish!

Check jewlery stores and I have seen some nice ones on overstock!

Yes you have to put it on you ring finger left hand, tho some people dont (most of the time people dont know its a promis ring if its not on that hand)

    Hope I helped!

  6. U dont have to hold a ceremony for it

u can just get a purity ring

but have to be willing to make the promise to yourself and to god to stay pure untill u are married

most people wear their purity rings on their left ring finger because that is the finger ur wedding ring will go on and it signifies that u are going to stay pure untill u are married

there is a website called purityrings.com
