6. Yes.  Australia is in the Eastern Hemisphere so is technically east of South America (in the Western Hemisphere).  Australia is also on the Western side of the Pacific and so is also West of South America.

7. All are places in the Philippines. Luzon, Manila and Panay are cities.  Mindanao is an Island.
