Questions on repair on Maruti Zen?

Hi,

I own an old Maruti Zen and have 2 questions:

- My windsheild has cracked up and I think it needs to be replaced. Could anyone help me with what it would costs and alternatives

- The engine turns itself off sometimes. This is usually when its cold and not driven for 5 to 10 minutes. Any ideas how to get this fixed.

d turning probs occur-is ur car diesl or cng/lpg? it occurs in winters d engine temp is low..it takes time 2get heatd....u cn see d temp.gauge near sppeedometr

it shud b a littl less thn horizontl  preheat d car  befor goin in winters 5mins...

if its diesl cng etc thn do it in summrs also

It depends on how old your car is and it seems as i guess must be a 6-7 years back model. No alternatives for windshield and go for ashi india whindshield it will cost you around Rs. 7000 + / -. and Engine problem is something you need to consult with Maruti.

better Sell off your car and go for new one. because now one problem starts and it will increase in number day by day

Regarding your windshield, you get full replacement from the insurance company, so you dont have to spend anything.

2nd Problem:Get your carburettor cleaned (engine tuning includes carburettor cleaning, clogged jet cleaned [it might require replacement] cleaning of spark plugs).I think it is the slow jet which is clogged and it is a one minute job for the mechanic to do it.

I hope you are changing the engine oil & filter every 5000 kms or around.
