What is unique about the field of anthropology as compared with other disciplines? pls. answer asap. thanks

anthropology is the study of humans as opposed to other animal species. many points are studied in anthro. about primates also

the main thing about anthro that is different from other disciplines is (as the person above stated) holistic. without input from other fields such as geology, biology, chemistry, history, and even psychology and sociology (in the case of cultural anthro) and many others it is impossible to see all aspects of a site or culture.
