Quick question about running?

Is running with a garbage bag on any good? Like does it help at all. I biked about 8 miles today with a garbage bag on, a t-shirt, and a hoodie on. And I ran the last 2 to make it an even 10 miles today. But I would like to know if it helps or if it hurts more to have the bag on. I read somewhere that it's apart of some harder workouts to make you tone faster, because that is my goal, but any feedback would be greatly appriciated. Thank you.

  1. NO! It makes you loose water and can dehydrate you.


  2. No, using the garbage bag dehydrates your body and is bad for you! Try sit ups or push ups to get that extra tone your looking for!

  3. yeah, that would help. It stops wind and makes you work so much harder. Then when you take it off, you feel so fast and lightweight, even though you're really dead tired. Try it, it does help you tone faster too.

  4. No.... dont use a garbage bag thats bad for you.. You should probably try running at least two miles a day.. and eventually start timing yourself and try to get faster.. and then take it to the gym and work out but not all at once tho.. that could be tiring... remember STRETCH before running and working out.. .=] i learned the hard way tehe..
