Quick set pool???

well i just got a bargain on a quick set pool, its 15 feet wide and it says it is 36'' deep i think. i got it for 99 bucks, is that a good ldeal? i also wanted to ask peoples opinions on them, are they a total rip off, do they last a long time, do you enjoy it??? how lond do they usually last? ive heard different remarks about them, im just curious of how you all feel about these. i dont need to call my city and ask if i can have one of these, right? i mean im allowed to have one of these in my backyard, right?

any info you know on these quick set pools will help me more than you know.

You may want to call your city to check on laws.  My brother put one up last year.  A week later, he got a letter from the city telling him to take it down or put up a fence.

I've had 2 quick set pools. The first one I bought used for $20, and it had an air leak that was never found. I used those foam "noodles" to put under the rim to hold up the air ring overnight before adding more air. That pool lasted me for 3 summers. I'd say I got my money's worth. When I had to move, I gave the pool away because the hoses were starting to go bad. Also, I took it down and stored it in the garage during the winters.

Now that I'm back living in a place where I can have a pool, I bought another quick set. So far it's still in the box because the weather isn't cooperating. The temperatures are still in the 60's and there's a swamp in my back yard. Hopefully, that will change in the next couple of weeks.

I'd say you got a good deal on your pool. If they last as long as my old one did, it will be worth it.

You'll have to check you local ordinances as far as what's allowed. You also may want to check with your local fire department for filling it. Our local fire department will do it for a "donation".
