Question:

Quiet parks in London?

my sisters and I are thinking of doing a photoshoot in one of London's parks. I think sometime like a cemetery or a quiet, not very crowded (touristy) place would be best. Can anyone give me some suggestions?

thanks!

  1. I guess Queen's Mary Garden at Regent's Park is the better choice option

  2. South London is probably the best place to avoid the tourists. Battersea Park has some nice views as it is next to the river between Albert and Chelsea Bridges. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h...

Nunhead Cemetery would fit your criteria even though it is a little suburban.

  3. Waterlow Park in Highgate would be an ideal spot.  It's around a ten minute walk from Archway on the Northern Line.

Take a look at some photos on Flickr:

If you want something really atmospheric you are only a short walk from Highgate Cemetery - although you do have to pay a couple of pounds to get in, so check first.

  4. Queens park, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, Regent's park..Most of these parks are big enough for you to be able to find a quiet spot..
