any good quotes to help calm nerves and relieve tension so i have confidence to write an exam confidently. dont necessarily have to be quotes can also be inspiring words.

This is a bit of a conversation I had with one of my friends that I will never, ever forget.

talk talk talk, blah blah blah.

Friend: "You'll get there."

Me: "Get where?"

Friend: "Where you want to go."

I just thought. Wow... that really makes sense... and it's really encouraging. It's kinda' a "don't give up: it'll come" moment.

Well, I use the "Littany Against Fear" from DUNE by Frank Herbert.

Here it is, but sometimes I just need the first two lines:

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

It is the little death that brings total obliteration.

I will face my fear. I will allow it to pass over me and through me.

And when it has passed by, I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Where fear has gone will be nothing. Only I will remain."

Works for me.
