R roller coasters dangerous?

Cuz were going to Cedar Point.....and im scared......

Riding a roller coaster is safer than driving down the highway in your car. It been proven that you are more likely to be hurt on your way TO the amusement park than when you are really in it. In one of my magazine i read that only about 2 people on average get killed on a roller coaster. But if you think about it, everything in the world is dangerous. But you shouldn't be afraid of getting physically hurt on a ride. but have FUN!! I LOVE CEDAR POINT!!! ITS AWESOME!!! =]

Anything can be dangerous. You always hear about bad things and accidents from everything, even roller coasters. However you have to think how many times an accident has happened to a person and how many people were affected. It's not very likely you'll get into an accident while on the ride...it's still possible, but the chances I believe are slim. Safety. Don't be scared...you're going with other people right? well the roller coaster should have a belt or some sort of thing that prevents you from falling off. If it doesn't THEN you should be scared. Just have fun.

No...I mean, I'm sure there is a very small chance that something could happen while you are on a roller coaster, but sooo many people ride those rides everyday, and you don't often hear about people being hurt or killed on them. You have nothing to worry about...if you think about it, you have a much greater chance of something happening on the way there than on one of the roller coasters. Just to put things in perspective...you should just relax and have fun, because there's a very very small chance that anything bad will happen :-)
