is it safe for a baby to be in a carseat in a rv without being seatbelted to a seat?BABY IS 4 MONTHS OLD!

  1. No!  There is no safe way to transport a child in an RV.  The only seats crash tested are the front 2 seats and you can't put a carseat there.

You have to have the baby in the Car seat and the car seat has to be strapped in also.We Own a RV and so does my Sister in law and they have a young child also and we went on a trip in March in our RV's.She was in her car seat and the car seat was strapped in.She was 6 months when we went on our trip and we are leaving for a week long trip this weekend.

  4. This is a law in every state.............the child must be in the front seat secured with a car seat with the seat pushed back as far as possible..........you cannot put the child in the rear at all, it is not safe........
