what is the best rabbit breed that you love

I personal like netherland dwarfs because i raise them and i have only been bite once by them. There small and so cute! My second favorite is holland lops i have one who will chase me everywere and cuddle sooo its a hard to pick between them. i love them both. :D

lionhead rabbits. I love them. I have a tan coloured one about 3 yrs old and a harlequin coloured one about 4 months old.

Also i have a 5 yr old english giant rabbit...

Holland lops they are easy to handle because they weigh aroung 4 lbs and they have cute personality and are aways trying to get your attention.

I have a mini rex.  He's about 4 pounds and he has the softest fur of any rabbit.  It almost feels like mink.

you should either get a mini lop( they are crazy nice) or a mini rex . they usualy love to cuddle!

I love English Angora Rabbits...My favorite was Meg's Heartbreaker and he died 2 years ago and I am hoping to find one of his bunnies to take his place....if you don't like the work of the long hair the next best breed is Holland Lop

I haven't found anything better than the Holland Lop. I got a pair a few years ago to breed and show, and it has only grown from here. They're a smart, active, playful breed, and I *rarely* come across mean ones. They LOVE attention and will run to the door of their cages for treats and kisses.

I may add another breed to my rabbitry at some point, but I will never again be without my Hollands!

Well, I have two loves now: the Tan and the Rhinelander.

One of my Tans is in my icon. They were my first breed and I love them. They are active, bold, inquisitive, sometimes a little feisty but always fun. They're very easy to care for and a blast to show, and their markings look very striking.

Rhinelanders are a breed I've admired for a long time, and I finally got a pair this year. They have some of the same qualities as the Tans do, but they are maybe a little calmer, a little more catlike. My buck will sit there and hang his head out of the cage so you can rub his forehead and cheeks-he's probably the only rabbit I know who'll walk away from  his dinner so he can get love!

We had very sweet Dutch Belted rabbits that made great pets. We even trained them to potty in a box when we let them loose in a couple of closed-in rooms of the house! However, they did chew the lamp cords when they disappeared from sight. Ha- so we let them in on occasion, but kept a good eye on them. The rest of the time they DID live in a bunny hutch, btw!

I love all rabbits. I suggest getting a young bunny so it gets used to being handled from early on :-). I like the shelter idea!

the best breed is a rescued rabbit.  it can be a mix, a purebred, an uppy-eared or a lop.  rabbits that are rescued from shelters make the perfect pet.  they appreciate the second chance at a good life and will love you forever.  knowing you have saved a life is the greatest feeling in the world, and is worth more than any pedigree.

i have a mini rex girl and a mixed breed lop boy.  they are both rescues, both spayed/neutered and both live indoors as members of the family.
