The whole problem with Radios I and 2 is the segregation of music that arises. Us older people grew up hearing a wide variety of musical styles from the Light Programme and we had the pirates and Radio Luxembourg for our own rock and pop. You don't have that choice any longer and the inane DJ's now make themselves more important than the music they're paid to play.
