Raiders New Season??

what do you think it would take the raiders to have a winning season? and what is your favorite team?

I'm surprised that you all still believe that Oakland still has a team. It's all an elaborate charade that the Davis Family is performing, with the help of hired actors, to keep Senile old Al alert and happy. He still thinks he knows what he's doing and can actually run a Football Franchise! Imagine the mayhem if he ACTUALLY did some of the things he has tried doing over the last few seasons! No Real athletes would put up with being run by such a madman, except maybe the New York Yankees. They're used to it. In answer to your question, the Raiders will never have another winning season as long as Nut Bar Al is calling the shots. But have faith. He's incredibly old. My Favorite team is the New York Football Giants.

Raiders would need an intervention from God for a winning season. I'm so glad the Chargers play them twice. I see 5-11 at best and only due to the fact KC will be 2 wins for you guys.

Nope raiders will be suckin this year and yet they WONT BE the worst team this year.I think the 49ers will be the worst team.I am a Rams fan so well i am kinda biased but i think another 3 years for the Raiders to  have a WINNING season(8-8 is not a winning season for the AFC!)McFadden, Russel are going to be busts but they will get it done on Defense so expect some great D plays but not so good on the offense side of the ball.There is my take on the raiders new and same as last year.Raiders goes 5-11 so dont expect much.

The raiders need a couple things on offense.  First they need to get better up front. I'm not saying they need new Offensive lineman, they just need to come together as a unit and sell out for whoever has the ball. If the offensive line play improved so would all other aspects of the game.  The raider's wide receiving corps is a little shallow, but their stable of RB's is spectacular, in my opinion the deepest in the NFL.

The Raider's offense is just fine, and they improved it even more this offseason.  If the offense stops going three and out all game or turning it over in bad territory the Raider's defense would be among the best in the league.

If at least 9 of their games were forfeited by the other team.  They're destined for last, maybe 3rd behind the Chiefs.  My favorite team is the Jets

i actually like the raiders chances this season. they have a great young quarterback with a cannon for an arm, one of the future great running backs in darren mcfadden, a shutdown corner in deangelo hall, a good coach, an underrated tackle they drafted a few years ago, hes good, sebastian janikowski can still kick the ball. so i like them alot. i think theyll be 6-10 or 7-9 this year which would be a great improvement. they will get better revenues at home games from people wanting to see russel, hall, and mcfadden. so they need to use that extra money to bring in players next off season. they need to hold on to their talent, and develop those young players and by 2010 i see them in the playoffs. my favorite team is the tennessee titans by the way only because i like 40 minutes from nashville.

Al Davis to disappear and let the coaches do their thing.  Raiders have some offensive talent, but need help on defense.

Right now, a new wide receiver, Drew Carter will be out for the season, Curry is good but not a big numbers guy, Javon Walker is kind of a skitso. Joe Horn is available. I'm not going to judge much according to this preseason. Raiders are a running team, with a 3 headed monster in Fargas, McFadden, n Bush, it should be fine, though we do need a new fullback because O'Neal will also be out.

I think Jamarcus just needs to be unleashed, he's getting little dinky roll out passes, and quick screens. Let's see the cannon. I think Zach Miller is the real deal at TE. Best tight end from draft last year, and better than Vernon Davis. He'll be another Jason Whitten or Todd Heap type. He moves the chains.

The offensive line is better this year, yes Kwame Harris is an upgrade from Barry Sims, The Defense is improved, just watching preseason, Gibril Wilson is a great tackler, and Huff is allowed to just roam now, Lienheart's 3 picks is enough proof of that.
