Railway card for teenagers?

I am going to be travelling to and from London every weekday and was wondering if there is any railway card or way that could get me reduced fares as it costs £25 each way.

Please help, if anyone knows of any information about it I would be very grateful

Well it depends where you are from...there are many special deals that include London fares.

The Young Persons Railcard is probably for you (ages 16-24), it costs £20 to get, but you get around a third off all train costs. You can get the form at your local train station, fill it in and you'll need a passport size photo oh you with it. Just hand it in to the person at the desk with the £20 and picture, and he/she should be able to simply print you the card off there and then. If not, you'll be sent it in the post.

I'm not sure if this applies for everywhere (and it most likely doesn't), but from where I'm from (Leicester) you can buy a special railcard to London. It includes the fare there and back, and also you have complete access (or most) to the underground and buses around the city, and it's just one card printed off. You will have to travel at off-peak times however, but it is the cheapest I assure you, cheaper than just a standard day return on its own. And then with the young persons railcard discount, it's even cheaper. I think it's about £25 with the discount, costs cover everything.
