Hi, I'm doing a bit of a research, I hope you'll help me telling what you think. Which do you reckon are the most serious problems of the English railway service? I'm particularly interested in from-and-to London lines. Thanks.

  1. High ticket prices are the biggest problem by far. This is especially true for journeys starting or ending in London.

  2. Total lack of investment over the years has left a very poor infastructure.

  3. The English railway service is good. Most of the time it gets you to where you want to go within a few minutes of the scheduled time. There are problems on some routes and at certain times but, if cost were not a factor, I prefer rail to flying or coach for transport within the UK anytime.
