I'm going to Cabo on Sat (18th) and the extended forecast says its going to be scattered thunderstorms Mon-Wed so far...does that mean its going to be cloudy/pouring down rain the whole time!?!?!? or can it be wrong considering it's a week out...??

  1. We have had some thunderstorms past through this year.  It is normal for us to get rain during the summer here, but often the rain will come at night or in the morning and then it clears up and is warm and sunny and dry within hours!   Not what you are used to at home where it rains nonstop for days.  They have mentioned there is a system (low) churning out in the pacific and headed towards us, but it is not been classified as a hurricane or anything yet.

Don't worry, your holiday won't be ruined.

  2. Not at all, you may experience a few clouds and a few showers, I spent 10 days there at this time last year, had the same forecast saw no rain and one day it was cloudy.

  3. It may be some rain, but if that happen, will be very light.

Usually forecast are from the airport, that is close to some mountains. Some times, they get big storms, while here on the beach, is sunny.

The only time when we have rain for more than 4 hours, is when hurricanes get closed, so far, we are not expecting that soon.

    Enjoy Cabo
