what is the permit test like? what kind of neon lighting can be applied to motorcycles? and is a 249cc that slow where even though I'll only use it for transportation ill get sick of it soon? thanks :]

I agree w biker for life. The payments on a new 250 will last far longer than your interst in small economy size.

The test is not that hard, just don't over think it. Any neon lighting can be applied but if it is going to be shining forward, no blue or red. Yes a 250 is too small. you will be bored with that bike in a few months if not weeks.

Check your state laws for the lights. Each state has its own rules. In NJ, you can add amber lights anywhere, white lights anywhere as long as they are NOT visible from the rear, red lights on the rear of the bike and ONLY visible from the rear or sides. Any other color is illegal and will nullify the bike's inspection certificate.
