Okay I have heard some myth/rumors about random things.

1) I heard that Dove deodorant can cause cancer. Is this true? Please don't just give an opinion! Try and give real info and what about Dove deodorant would make someone think this?

2) I heard that if there are certain numbers (please give these numbers) on the bottom of a plastic re-usable water bottles (that you can buy at like REI) that it is bad for you. Ex: If I found like a 5 in a circle on the bottom of my water bottle, It would be bad. What numbers are bad and what about the plastic or whatever makes them bad for you?

Thanks for the help!

  1. To your first question yes and no. Some scientists say it can some say it can't. When you get right down to it the evidence is on yes's side. It is more likely, though, for you to get Alzheimer's due to the high aluminum content. This is in most deodorants though.I suggest you go to an organic store and buy deodorant there. It will say on the active ingredients list if it has aluminum or not. ( :

  5. 1) Where the h**l did you hear this?  I found nothing even close to this, in fact, found information where Dove contributes to cancer fighting causes.  I did not even find anything about this myth, so I think Betty-Sue made this one up.

    2) While I found nothing about certain types of plastic bottles, there were myths about re-using, freezing, or microwaving plastic bottles, but they are all false. http://search.atomz.com/search/?sp-q=pla...
