Question

1. Do cards that booster atk of other monsters boost themself like Bladefly for example?

2. (JUST A RANDOM QUESTION) Can you Majestic Mech - Goryu with his one tribute effect then use By Order of the Emperor to negate his second effect to be sent to grave?

It would be awesome if you could so you could get a strong monster easy and then get to draw a card! LOL

Monsters like Bladefly and Nightmare Penguin do include themselves as part of their effect, because as long as the card specifically states that that particular card is not part of the effect, or the monster doesnt fit the necessary conditions, it will not have it's ATK boosted.

And unfortunately, no, you cannot use By Order of the Emperor to stop Majestic Mech - Goryu's self-destruction effect. The reason is that MMG's effect does not activate when he is summoned, it activates at the end phase of that turn.

Hello. For your first question, cards like Bladefly and Milus Radiant boost themselves as well as other Monsters. For your second question, By Order of the Emperor only works on Monsters whose effects go off when they are Summoned. Since Goryu's effect to send it to the Graveyard doesn't activate until the End Phase, it would miss the timing. This trick does work with Skill Drain, though :)
