  1. one of my mares smiles for the camera. it is just to cute and funny.

  2. my horse has really big ears and she weaves. When she weaves her ears brush the bars on her stall so it makes nois and its like she is dancing and playing music. It is so funny.

  3. Not my horse, but a horse I used to ride would talk to himself and move his lip up and down REALLY fast it was the cutest thing ever.

Another horse whenever you had treats we would cross his two front legs =)

  4. My horse loves music. Whenever we ride, there always has to be music playing (unless we're on a hack, there's too many sounds around for him to want music). Because of this, we always keep a radio going near the paddocks, and we always keep a few CDs near the boombox near the arena. We are also having a new barn built on our property, so I'm thinking there will be a radio playing there too! Whenever he goes to his winter home (at my uncle's barn), they keep a small stereo at the back of the barn (his stall is right at the end) so he can have his music.

  5. When my horse rolls it's a bit scary because he doesn't bother to bend his back legs - the front end goes down normally but the back end just falls over and lands with a thump. Then he rolls and he's grunting and groaning the whole time. Then he eats.

  6. My horse gets jealous of anything made of paper. If I am reading a dressage test or a magazine, she tries her best to get it out of my hands.

  7. well i dont have my own horse but at my camp i ride them; and the one i rode today likes to hug cones xD the ones we use to practice going around and stuff and i couldnt get her to stop lol.

  8. Snore. Snores like an old logger. Girlfriend will also inspect anything that has moved or changed then bring the other horses to show them. I can't name all the funny things my mare does. It's kinda status quo with her. Like inspecting the new chicks.

Oh and my moms gelding will use trees to scratch himself, reminds me of that Disney movie The Jungle Book. You know "Just the bear necessities"

  9. well..2 of the horses i ride drewl constantily no matter if they r running the barrel pattern or being brushed and the other one i ride hangs his bottem lip out like 2 inches from his mouth even with a bit it ....he kinda looks like a nerd

  10. Well i ride a horse up at a Horse treks in New Zealand, and He is really cute, when he canters he does this thing with his ead because he gets excited, and he whips his head around, he is kind of cute though, i also ride him in around at the primary school garlas, and he goes up to the little kids and begges for their food, he is a fuzzy boy, and is only 15.2 hh, he is a sweet heart!

  11. when i take off polo wraps on his front legs he crosses his legs and moves them up and down

and he looks like he's doing an irish jig

    haha its adorable

  12. Well My pony when I go to see him in the field he comes trotting up to me and if anothe rhorse comes up to me he will attack them .. he protects me from everything :P thats why i love him + LOTS more reasons!

  13. my horse after every meal, will start galloping around the paddock bucking and snorting, he also does this odd thing where he mates the tree in his paddock (he's gelding)

  14. She hasnt done it for a while because her oats arent in a container any more. But when i bought my mare, we got a bunch of things for her from the old owner. They gave us a tubawar filled with oats. The next day when we took Sandy out of the pasture to check her over and to dry her off (got flung into the pond, long story, but scared the sh** out of me!) We gave her some. She was all relaxed and eating them, then my dad was like, ok thats enough for now. Then she just kept staring at him, then he sat the tub on the ground coverd. And Sandy kept trying to open it. While my dad and i were laughing, she got it open and kept eating them. We couldnt get those away from her! lol.

Something she does naturally is when my dad scrathes her ear (only my dad doesnt work with any others) she will keep moving her head toward him, and down like. Its really cute and funny. I tried but never could get it in the right spot.

  15. tulsa- squeals whenever a horse, whether her best bud or not, touches or sniffs her. she does either the bloody murder scream  or a little "don't touch me, i'm precious" 'umph'. licks people in random spots. one time my mom had her arms raised, so her shirt went up a little, and tulsa started l*****g her stomach! hilarious!

chrome- um... just gallops, bucks, rears, spazzes, ... whenver she feels like it... mostly when she sees the halter

teak- hates chrome but Loves her at the same time. doesn't like it when she touches her, hates her to leave her sight. follows chrome when she spazzes out.

teak and chrome like to eat cherries occasionally, and we feed them whole, and then they just spit out the pit like a pro. gotta be there for it to actually be funny. they also stretch like dogs sometimes. they also roll like 5 times after being sprayed w/ the hose.

tulsa is the alpha but just can't function w/ out chrome. teak is alpha but can't live w/out chrome. (fyi- teak and tulsa are in separate pastures). i don't get why they just don't make chrome the freakin alpha.

  16. My horse is not always very good for new farriers..If they try to pick up his back feet, he will stretch it until his leg is sticking out completely horizontal..And stay there for about ten seconds.  Then he will be good.  He is such a dork.

  17. everytime my sister smokes by one of my horses she puts her top lip in the air and stays next to her and keeps doing it. lol

  18. the funniest thing my mare does is when i feed her in her stall with a black rubber tub is she plays with it while waiting for her turn , she will put all four feet in it, or roll it between her back legs . until i feed her it is fun to watch her.

  19. My pony pulls the zipper on my jacket up and down

She also stretches like a dog, in the "play bow " position

  20. Steals my dads soda if he puts it down within reach of him. He absolutely lovess pepsi. We gave him a sip once and now he sees a can and just goes for it

  21. My yearling(Lincoln) just developed the attitude that he will only eat his hay if I throw it in a certain spot. The hay I threw in his shelter on a rainy day....still there. The stinker. And now I have to change his water every day now or he won't drink it the next day...so now I just fill it half way.

My 6 year old...*makes me feel like a parent talking about their kid*, he likes to l**k my cheek now...new habit. Not liking it either...horse licks can be slobbery...lol. It's like having a 1200 pound saint bernard if he does it right after taking a drink....ewww...lol. He also likes to rest his head on my shoulder when i am scratching on Lincoln.

  22. Sounds cute.

One of ours loves apricots and nectarines, it looks rather cute when he eats them and the stone flies out the side of his mouth.

When I wash one of our ponies, if given the chance he'll always try and pull the hose out of my hand - which means I end up getting wet.

When watching a friend jumping recently her horse wasn't in the mood. He cantered up to the jumps then slammed on the brakes, paused and leant forward, pushing off the top poll, then jumped over the lower height - he did this three times!
