  1. Moss ok  id love to see TO

  2. I think it will be good for the sport. Especially with the allegations from the Nascar official. I think it will help bring diversity to the sport. I hope he does well. With how bad the economy is, it's hard to see anyone fail.

  3. yeah i know...he owns a team...he thinks he's a hot shot...just b/c he's a football star doesn't mean he can be successful in everything he tries....i know he's not racing, but Randy Moss Motorsports can be a sinking ship, just like anything else...and the success of his team depends on how good his driver is....no matter what major series your team is in NASCAR is all about money and sponsorship and from what i understand, randy used most of his own money to start the team....i think he'll have a rocky start..but we'll see...

  4. I like to see someone from another sport support NASCAR. It just truly shows how much people enjoy out sport.

  5. Well.....a lot of us may not think Randy Moss owning a craftsman truck team is any good, but right now with the allegations from Mauricia Grant - it is a boost for Nascar and probably could'nt come at a better time.

  6. the big question is how long he'll last.  he bought 1/2 of morgan dollar motorsports cts team and it will now be called randy moss motorsports.  they will debut with the newly numbered truck (#81 to match moss' jersey number) on july 19th at kentucky with willie allen driving. willie did win the rookie of the year award last year, but has 0 wins, 2 top tens, and 0 poles. he's raced some nationwide with all goose-eggs in those categories.

i've listened to a bunch of phone interviews with him, the most memorable being one on windtunnel with dave despain. listening to that interview convinced me that although he may be a nascar fan, his involvement in the sport seems more "ego" than business oriented. not to be mean, but listening to that interview, he sure as heck didn't leave me feeling like i had just heard the next rick hendrick, joe gibbs, jack roush, or billy balew. his ultimate goal - sprint cup - couldn't be more unrealistic - coming at a time when guys like ganassi can't find sponsors, and when all the big sponsors are moving from smaller teams to larger teams (caterpillar, general mills). honestly, i don't know what the man is thinking, other than "cool, i own a race team." as for recent appearances, i've seen him partying on TMZ on more than one occasion, but never seen him in a face-to-face (or on-camera) interview about this topic.

how many more football and basketball players are going to buy into teams only to sell out within a year or two?  even aikman and staubach's project, hall of fame racing, started at the cup level WITH a big sponsor, and they were essentially gone within two years (they still are listed as "uninterested owners" after having their shares bought out). i wish him luck - he's going to need a lot of it, and a lot of good advisers - but guess he'll be seriously rethinking his decision come 2010.

  7. Jesse jackson and al sharpton will be happy!!!

  8. Im glad hes getting involved and will root for his team.  Hes a fellow West Virginian and been a fan for years.

If he wasnt a black man no one would make a big deal out of it.  Guess its still hard to believe that non whites can be fans as well.

  9. Yeah, he bought 50% of a CTS team.  I see no problem there...probably a good investment for him.

    go Jr.>>>>

  10. Hey! Be cool. Randy Moss is aight
