Rate my diet please!?

Breakfast:

1 protein bar

1 bag of lowfat popcorn

100 calories worth of lean turkey breast

Snack:

2 graham crackers and a tablespoon of lowfat peanut butter

Lunch:

2 slices whole wheat bread

lean turkey or chicken

lettuce

tomato

honey mustard

Snack:

1 granola bar, 1 piece of fruit

Dinner:

1 cup pasta

4 oz. grilled chicken

1/2 cup marinara sauce

1 cup cooked vegetables

I do either a 60 minute treadmill workout or a 45 minute run with hills daily. But I've been anorexic 2 years, eating around 900 calories. My nutritionist gave me this meal plan, and I'm allowed to keep doing the same amount of exercise, but I'm scared that I will put on weight from fat. Since I'm following that meal plan and exercising will I put on muscle instead?

  1. if thats what your nutritionist gave you, then follow it, dont doubt her, its her job, she knows what shes doing.

    and that sounds like a healthy diet plan :)


  2. Breakfast sounds good. Snack sounds pretty good. Check how many calories are in the graham crackers and if it's more than 100 consider switching to one of those 100 Calorie Packs. Lunch sounds good, but make sure the chicken isn't fried. Snack sounds good, but try going for an all natural granola like the brand called Bare Naked. Dinner sounds pretty good. Try to buy whole wheat pasta because it has good carbs in it. And watch out because some brands of marinara have a lot of sugar in them. You put on muscle if you eat around 100-200 calories more than you use each day. Any more than 200 becomes fat. If you want to get more muscular, get lots of protein and consider lifting weights.   3. its pretty healthy I guess...although I would eat more.

    you're eating lots of protein so i guess you'd make more muscle, and its ok to have some fat in your body you know.
