Rate of Twist, For calibres

What does that mean? the 300.wsm in the Browning A-Bolt Stainless Hunter has a rate of twist of 1 turn in 10". Is that good

  1. That just means 1 complete revolution in 10 inches , which is quite standard for that calibre although my 223 has that same ratio , my 22-250 has a 1:14" twist rate but the projectiles scream out of it.But yeah i guess that it is a good twist rate for ur rifle and u would be shooting heavier projectiles too.
