Re locating to Mumbai?

Hi Gang, I need some guidance from Mumbaikars. I am re-locating to Mumbai and my company is in Aarey Milk Colony, Goregaon (E). I would like to know if any PG accommodations are available for a bachelor my budget range is from 2K – 4K per month.

No I don’t want any funny answers please …

can't u contact som real estate agent ??? of course u'lll hv to shell out money.... but more comfotble and safer also since the owners will not let  u into houses easily without knowing ur bckgrond ,,,,right ??

2k to 4k would  be too less. atleast 5k budget.

Aarey Milk Colony has Liaison  officer, personnel officer or labour officer, one of them should be able to guide you.

But start with the boss, ask him to suggest. Times of India (Bombay), Mumbai Samachar, other Indian language new paper, all have PG column in their advertisement section, it also has rental column, if possible stay in Goregaon. You will save time, at one time Aarey use to run free Buses to the Rly. station for the visitors and the employee. 4k per moth will be OK, 2K is little difficult to find.

Aarey had workers housing also.

If nothing is advertised in Goregaon then stay with any Rly. station between Goregaon Vihar- Vasai away from Churchgate, go away from Bombay Island , and see what is there to rent.

If you do not have a car then stay near Rly station or bus stop. Make sure the transport is there and it is convenient. Cycles are not usable during June to September (4 month period).
