Reading plz help?

ok when ever I watch a movie or read a book and something embarrassing happens I can't read or watch it any more it's like I get embarrased for the charactor what should I do I hate it!

I know just what you mean. I often feel the same way and have to jump up and walk around the room. Remind yourself "It's just a movie (book). None of this is real. There's something to be learned in this. I just have to calm down and see what I can get out of it." Verbalize your feelings. Say, "This is embarassingly stupid! This is so dumb! I wonder what will happen next..."
