Really healthy snacks?

okay well im trying to loose weight and i got the basic healthy foods like fruits and veggies but between 8in the morning till 3in the afternoon i need stuff to eat and munch on cuz when i get home i wanna pig out on tons of unhealthy foods also i want my work to be good and with no lunch break thats hard.

anyways what are things i cant eat and munch on and will hold me over till dinner?

a nice list would be good i got the fruits and veggies down!!!!

  1. things that will fill you up and are healthy are

    any fruit and veggie which you know

    nuts

    trail mix

    cottage cheese

    cheese

    rice

    meal bar or meal shake (watch the calories if you have too much)

    a few crackers or wheat thins

    100 calorie packs

    and it sounds like you are in school with the 8-3 so why don't you have a lunch break...? that is whack


  2. well it wont fill u up but i like those little special k crunchy thingy, there little and in a little bag for on the go, there healthy and taste good!!  GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!!<3

  3. I like eating hummus with baby carrots or green bell pepper strips. It seems more filling to me than just eating the veggies plain.

    Here are some of the things that I find pretty filling, but healthy:

    -nuts (preferably unsalted and unflavored)

    -rice cakes with natural peanut butter (less salt!) and cut up bananas on top

    -unsalted tortilla chips and homemade salsa

    -small helping of all-natural popcorn

    whole grain crackers with lowfat cheese(laughing cow is soo good and only 35 cals!)

  6. If you get the munchies, try eating something with healthy fats in it.  Add a tablespoon of peanut butter when you eat some fruit, or try some avacadoes, or some nuts.  The fat in them will help curb your appetite.  Just don't overdue it because they have alot of calories in them.

    Kashi Golean- One of the best cereals and loaded with vitamins

    Clams- Vitamin B12 helps support your nerves and it contains iron

    Cranberry Juice- Tons of vitamin C and has little to no sugar

    Avocados- Helps lower cholesterol and contains lots of fiber

    Bananas- 1 Banana contains almost 20% of your daily potassium

    Tuna- At 200 calories a can it can make a low calorie lunch

    Rice- Overall very good for you

    Almonds- Keep you full for a while and have little calories

    South Beach Diet Peanut Butter Bars- High in protien
