Rear facing carseats??

i live in wa state and i was wondering if there was a "law" regarding rear facing carseats. i dont have airbags so does the law say i cant put the carseat in front? does anyone know a website i can find this info out at?

  1. WA state law says a child MUST be in the back seat until age 13 "when practical."  That means if all seats in back are taken up by other children, then someone must sit up front.

    I would never put a child up front unless it was an emergency situation - rearfacing in the front seat would be an absolute last resort.

  4. people worry about laws, but you should worry about your kid!   the kid will be safer in the middle of the backseat, please don't put your kid in the front seat even if the law says you can, it's just not safe!!
