Recent Exchange Rate in Turkey?

Travelling on my hols this weekend yipee !! Bodrum here we come.

Has anyone recently returned, if so, can you inform me what exchange rate you received to the pound please?

Also which is the best place to exchange in Bodrum or Gumbet?

Not sure on the best rate but it's usually better to change your money there in Turkey than here in the UK.

The best deals are offered by the restaurants who want you to come in and eat something so don't just stick to the usual  beaurau d'change.

Just have a drink and ask.

As of today Ask.com rate is listed it as 1 TRY =  0.4174 GBP

I'm off to Bodrum this sat night (22.10) flight from Manchester so i might even see you there!!!

Hi, i came back middle of June. I went to the other side to Fethiye but should be same rates. I exchanged before i went at local post office at £1.00 GBP - £2.20 YTL but when i got there the exchange was better and got £2.42 YTL. Hope this helps have a lovely time im going back in october CAN'T WAIT!!!!
