Recording from speakers?

I can't connect my mobile to the pc... so i sometimes try to play something on my pc.. that goes to my speakers and try to record, but obviously, the quality sucks. Is there anyway u can record or stuff trough the speakers with your phone? would it help to turn the volume up high, and record from a distance?

without direct connection, you will never get good quality. You are trying to overcome too much environmental noise and distortion.
