Recycle day?

Our day to put our recycling bins out is Tuesday, but Christmas is Tuesday.

Does that mean we put it out on Wednesday or do we wait another week?

That will depend entirely on where you live

Many councills will not collect on Wednesday - because that is boxing day and is also a bank holiday.

Some councils make special arrangements and do collect a day late for two weeks and do collect on boxing day and then on the two Saturdays to get back to the correct days.

This year for the first time my council is not collecting from people who normally have a collection on Tuesday for TWO weeks - because the Tuesday after is the 1st and is also a Bank Holiday

So perhaps you should post EXACTLY which area you live in and maybe someone local to you may be able to tell you

I Just checked with Frankston council.

Put your bins out the same as usual.

The contracted company will pick it up

My suggestion is to wait another week.

Chirstmas is holiday

Wednesday - you are not sure

Tuesday - you are sure that you have to put your recycling bins out.

As a result, next Tuesday is the best answer

y r u worried about it. just put it out. if they don't come, then they don't come. just bring it back inside and wait till next week. problem solved.
