Red, itchy, bug bites?

Question

I've been going to bed every night and waking up with red, itchy bumps that look exactly like mosquito bites. I've been getting more and more each night, and now I have about twenty per leg. I don't think a mosquito has been biting me because i'm under the covers and also I haven't seen a mosquito(s). Nobody else in my family has gotten bitten. Do you know what could be biting me? I don't think it's fleas or anything, because we have no indoor pets, but It could be possible.

There actually is such a thing as Bed- bugs.

That would be my guess, judging by the way you described it.

I would wash my sheets ASAP.
