so to take nothing away from them as they are great to watch and simply put the best team since the DREAM TEAM ... BUT ... does anyone else agree they play with a certain arrogance toward other teams? i watched them VS the boomers last night and saw boozer do a hard foul then just glare ... thats not olympic spirt at all is it ?? it was obviously an intentional foul the least he could have done was help the guy up or something ... just because your the best doesnt give you the right to look at and treat everyone else as nothing ... ps. patrick mills??? WOW ... he's tiny but hes an offence and defence machine. hes going to play nba and will be good anyone else agree?

  1. not at all. if the olympics truly is the largest stage in the world, then shouldn't you be giving it your all? shouldn't you score on opponents until they beg for mercy? hard fouls are part of the game. boozer is a big guy and too win a gold, you need plays like that.

  2. um mm no..if you watched the game that dude with long hair was trying to start something .. jawing with Wade , Lebron and other ..

So why should you be nice to that Douche-bag ?

Mills will be shorter version of Tony Parker .. . and seemed lil to inconsistent to

  3. Americans are dumb snobs!

  4. yup, ya have a good point there buddy

coz' they act like superstars, as they are actually

but now, they are playing on olympic grounds, they brought their macho egos with them in China.

They feel they are the supreme than ordinary humans, like the n***s did.

    good times buddy

  5. If you had watched the game you would have seen that Australia would not stop boasting about how they were going to crush the US. They did it the entire game, when asked after the game about why they choose not to respond and do the same thing back during the game, the US said

"They were doing a lot of talking, saying they were going to beat us and do this and that to us,” Carmelo Anthony said. “There’s a difference when they say something, and we do. If we come out and say we’re going to beat the h**l out of Australia, then we are arrogant and cocky. When they say it, it’s that they’re not scared and they’re not backing down from the U.S."

The sad thing is that he is right, its a huge double standard. So for people to come out and complain that the US had a couple of fouls that were a little to hard, or disrespectful, is kind of a childish thing to say if you knew the entire situation. The US showed a lot of restraint in the way they handled them selves VS. Australia.

  6. not at all, this olympic team is playing with a purpose unlike the last couple years and are motivated to win gold! there is nothing wrong about that, and hard play is part of the game, just because someone got fouled, doesn't mean there was foul play, i swear the nba has gotten so soft over the years, that if a player falls to the ground or anything like that, its a flagrant foul! i don't know how you think that they are acting wrong. and the foul with Boozer happened because the player from the other team was talking trash to Dwayne Wade.
