Redheads in Ireland?

Which part of Ireland has the highest population of redheads living today and 100 years ago?

I don't think there is any one area, in fact Ireland doesn't really have a higher population of redheads then other countries, I have 3 red-headed cousins, one is Irish, and the other two are Dutch-American.

my mammy is a redhead, i would imagine that there is no particular area in Ireland with a higher incidences of redheads than anywhere else, why would there be?? do you think we sent them off to live in colony's or something? ;)

I don't know but Scotland has more because Scotland's population is 11% RedHead.

Scotland has more. I'm redheaded and I spent a year in Limerick....not so many others around!
