My company is outsourcing thier most of thier work to India. They have not made the list yet for the people to make redundant but they are going to make 80% off the staff on redundant list.

I am looking for new job and they ask me reason for leaving jon. I am not redundant yet but i know i will be according to my little experience within the company. How should i explain to the new employers about reason of my leaving.

  1. Tell them the truth - you are expecting your company to make you redundant in the near future. Explain that your work is being outsourced to India. Future employers will not regard this as a negative.

  2. tell the truth

  3. tell the truth

Believe me they will understand, I have had this happen to me on more occasions than I care to remember.  However, you didnt mention how long you had worked for your present company.   If it is over 2 years you may be entitled (if you stick it out until you hear whether your job is at risk) for a payout.  Might be worth holding out for.

  4. tell them its not always the rats that are first to leave a sinking ship

  5. Sorry to hear of your predicament.

Redundancy is an illness of Globalism.

It is no reflection on your integrity..just tell it as it is

    Good luck !
