Refrigerator water drip pan

How do I empty the water drip pan underneath the refrigerator? There is one k**b. But no instructions. Please help. I hear water dripping into the pan. I donot want it to overflow. Whirpool side by side front dispenser model ED2FHEXTB00.

My drip pan does overflow if I don' t empty it often. Why does my refrigerator drip so much?
