Refurbished blackberry curve?

I purchased a blackberry curve in september it recently started giving me problems. My warranty is still in effect and they are sending me a refurbished curve. I'm nervous is going to be all scratched and only work for a few months? Anyone have experience with refurb phones?

I dont know why, but people are just afraid of refurbished things.

Refurbished things are sent back to the factory by the customers  due to the missing parts. The factory then adds the specific part to the whatever thing you are buying and then they sell it for a low price.  Like lets say you buy a mediaplayer and you are missing earphones. they replace it with a new ear phone and sell at a very low price.

but the thing is, the products WILL NOT be in the original package, since the customer has already opened it.

so ITS basically BRAND NEW. and works just fine.
