Can't the government's regulator (offgem?) cap how much energy companies higher their bills by? The six big companies have practically acted in unison when its come to the price hikes, their's isn't a competitive market place but a cartel.

  1. "Higher Power" bills? Do they even bill you for believing in a God these days?

  2. they have to oherwise they'd go down.

It's not like they just decided they all wanted to buy new ferraris and so hiked the prices

  3. Sorry Dr. Watson, but the higher the bills, the better the revenue for this wastrel government - isn't this why Brown is today saying it is better to get people to concentrate on insulating their homes than giving them a cash hand-out? The cretin knows that insulation has been put into all new builds for over 20 years and that almost everyone who could apply has applied for grants over the years for home insulation! It's been done already! This moron is really taking the pi*s!

  4. You are quite right it is a Cartel and this weak Government allows it. They should impose a windfall tax on the providers and give us a refund. But they won't.

I still remember what the Tories were like when they were in and they were no better. Which leaves the Liberals and I can't vote for them. So I guess I am stuck with the BNP.

  5. The government and their regulators (quangos) don't care enough to do anything to help us.

  6. just you wait until we get cold weather and people get huge there mightpower bills      ignore the above rubbish     my cat did it
