Question:

Relatively Goodtasting Uncomplicated Drink?

My friend doesn't like others to see you him drinking, neurotic i know, and would like advice on a drink that tastes good but isn't a shot or a drink that requires a special glass. He wants something that comes in a regular glass and isn't too distinctive. Please don't give me that psychobabble stuff, like "it doesn matter what others think of you."

  1. rum and coke

    vodka and lemonade

    vodka and orange juice

    whiskey and coffee

    bourbon and coke

    bourbon and lemonade

    vodka and sprite

    gin and ginger ale

    whatever

  2. Are you talking like...you want to know a mixed drink for you to prepare? Or one that is bought mixed? Hmm, if he/she likes whiskey, they could get a flask. That is easy to hide in your back pocket or coat pocket during the winter. But is a little rough. I prefer wine. It isn't too strong tasting, and has a higher alcohol level then beer. Not to mention it isn't as noticable as beer on your breath, or in your cup. The negative side is that wine will mess with your guts and give you diarea the next day if you drink too much. Try Mad Dog 20/20...it's only $2 for a bottle of it. I think orange tastes better then grape. Don't chug like I did the first time I drank it. lol. It tastes weak, but is stronger then you'd expect. If you guys like vodka or bacardi...it is quick and tasty to mix it with the bacardi mixers in the juice section. Directions or on the juice. It's as easy as blending or mixing ice, juice and alcohol. You can make it slushy by blending. Oh my gosh, caribu lou is tasty too! If you try it...you'll need pinapple juice, malibu, and bacardi 151 rum. It'll end up costing a bit for this all...about $30. Prepare the pinapple juice as you normally would in one pitcher. pour half into another pitcher. go to the 3/4 mark with malibu...then add rum to taste. It's mild and very tasty. But will give you a good buzz. I could go on all day with ideas. Hope you find out helpful. I bid you good drinking. lol

  3. Well a rum and coke looks like coke, a gin and tonic looks like you're drinking tonic water, same with vodka tonic.

For tasting food I'd go with a rum and coke though.

  4. i agree- rum and coke just look like coke. gin and tonic doesn't smell very strong... just kinda like sprite or something

vodka in a water bottle works too but he'd need something to cover up the smell

  5. Tell him to try a cosmopolitain...vodka, triple sec, and cranberry juice. Very light and refreshing drink. He can put it in any container he wants. He can also buy it in a tub frozen at wal-mart and put it in container he wants
