Remote wiring on an amplifier?

hooking up 2 amps, can you add a remote wire from the first amp that has the original wire ran from the head unit. Is it safe will it frie an amp or does it not have enough power to do that. Im not testing it out until i get a good answer

  1. Get a wire splitter and use it that way. It will have enough power to work efficiently since both amps are sending out and recieving signal back and forth.


  2. The remote is using very little voltage, its only telling the amp when to turn on. Just just a jumper wire and come off the remote on the first amp and hook up the second. I have done this before personally and it worked just fine.

  3. You can wire as many amps as you want just don't over load the fuse from the remote turn on wire.I have had 4 amps on the same remote without any problems.You can also use an ignition wire from the steering collum that is only hot with ignition on(substitute for remote turn on)
