Remove crank arm?

is there anyway to remove the crank arm without the tool with like a homemade tool or nything

it depends!

there are 3 diffrent types of crank arms

you have a single piece crank which can be removed with some adjustable wrenches

two piece  are a bit more tricky but you can get one off with an allan key

and three piece  are super easy you just undo the allan bolt and pull the sucker off, but to get the bottom bracket off you need a special tool.

to take off a 3-piece crank like you mongoose has you can do it all without special tools but you will be damaging the bike.

all you do is pop the dust cover off and take the 15 mm bolt off and start prying the arm off but using a crank puller is much easier.
