Question:

Removing games from my PC?

I installed the Sims 2 on a game patch a year ago. I bought a new game and I wanted to delete the Sims 2. I removed the game patch, but now I can't remove the Sims! I have tried the Control Panel Add/Remove programs, but when I click on the Change/Delete button it doesn't work. I've also tried going into the Start menu and in the EA Games-Sims 2 folder, and click uninstall, but it still won't work. Help please!

    try this. hope it helps

  2. what you have is a fragmented file for the program from deleting something without ununstalling it first. the best thing to use would be a registry cleaner, or program that will "fix" your reg files. reg doctor works ok, also the tune up utilities program. Check on download.com for a program that may be free to try and run that and see if it removed unusable files.

  3. Hmmm that's a tough one.

Usually the Add/Remove programs works for me.

Try crashing your computer and starting over if you're really desperate. If not, just have it installed and ignore it.

Hope this helps in some way! :)
