Question:

Replacing tennis grip?

I have a Head microgel "raptor" racquet. My grip was white now its brown. I have been playing with the racquet for about 3 months (I have used it four times a week since the start of the summer). The grip looks like a good grip and says "Hydrosorbe" on it. I went to the racquet shop and bought grip stuff (its a "black knight" brand). I got two rolls one in purple and one in black. It has adhesive on the back. I was wondering if I take my old grip off and put them on? and if I do how can I make a checker pattern of black and purple? Thanks!

  1. just put it on

  2. Yes, take the old grip off and replace with the new one.  I don't think you can make them checker pattern.  But here's how to replace a grip -> http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/LC/Regri...  :)

  3. You must take the old one off, otherwise it will be too thick to hold!

It won't make any difference on your game making patterns!!
